What are the benefits of subscribing?


With a subscription you can look forward to receiving your favourite magazine through your door every month saving you the time and trouble of going to the shops to buy a copy. If you take advantage of one of our special discount offers a subscription may also save you money as compared with the normal magazine cover price.


Where can I find information on the magazines?


You can access a description of the magazine you are interested in by clicking on the magazine title, cover or “ Info” link, or, where the chosen magazine has a dedicated web site, by visiting that site and accessing the information available there.


What is included in the price?


Prices displayed include delivery costs and taxes (where applicable). Any discounts to the normal issue cover price will also be explained. If you pay for your subscription using any non-sterling currency the price you pay will be dependant on the exchange rate of your credit card company and may fluctuate. 



What are Introductory Prices?


We run a variety of special offers and welcome gifts throughout the year, these are used as incentives to attract new readers to the convenience of subscribing. Please be assured that we do value our loyal subscribers and we always try to offer them a discount off the full rate when they renew.


What are the benefits of paying by Direct Debit?


UK customers have the option to subscribe by Direct Debit. Depending on the magazine, your payments will be spread into easy, manageable 3, 6 or 12 monthly payments. As Direct Debit is a continuous payment method your subscription will never expire unless you decide you want to stop, eliminating the need for renewal notices. We then pass these savings back to you enabling a further discount, and it’s greener as there is less paper and so better for the environment. You are also fully protected by the Direct Debit guarantee.


Is the online payment system secure?


Yes. We use SSL encryption software to keep the details of your order and credit/debit card information secure.


Can I order a subscription for delivery to an address outside the UK?


Yes. As the magazines are despatched from the UK, higher delivery costs may apply for delivery to addresses outside the UK. These will be displayed in the price summary once you have selected the country to which you want the magazines delivered. The prices displayed include delivery costs and taxes (where applicable).


How does a gift subscription work?


When we send you the written confirmation we will include a gift card for you to send to the gift recipient so that you can add your personal touch and retain the element of surprise. If you purchase more than one gift subscription you will receive a card for each recipient.


Can I order more than one subscription?


Yes but you must complete a separate order form for each magazine subscription you require.


 How do you acknowledge receipt of my online order?


If we receive details of your order successfully we will acknowledge this by means of the next page you see after clicking "Place your Order" and by sending you an email if you have supplied your email address.


Will you confirm acceptance of my order?

 Yes. Within 14 days of receiving your order we will write to you to confirm whether or not we accept it. This written confirmation will include the following details

Magazine subscribed to

Length of subscription and corresponding payment method

 Your personal details and delivery address for the magazines

 When the first issue will be delivered

 Your personal subscriber account number, which should be quoted in any correspondence

 Contact details for our customer services team

 In the case of gift subscriptions a "gift card" for you to send to the gift recipient.

 Should you have not received your acknowledgement after 14 days, please contact our customer service department.  



When will the first issue arrive?


Please allow up to eight weeks for delivery of the first subscription issue for both UK and Overseas orders.


When will I receive my free gift?


You will receive your free gift within 60 working days after we have collected the first payment from your account. Please note gifts are subject to availability and strictly limited on a first come first serve basis. These gifts will not be available for magazines delivered to overseas addresses.


Why haven’t I received the Covermounts/supplements that was on this month’s issue in the newsagent?


If any of our magazines are put on sale in the UK containing a covermount gift or a supplement, you are not guaranteed to receive these. Magazines delivered to overseas addresses may also not contain covermount gifts or supplements. 

Digital only subscriptions will not receive supplements or covermounts.


In what languages can I place an order?


At present our web sites operate in the English language only and, therefore, we can only accept orders placed in the English language.


What do you do with my personal information?


We use the personal information you provide (e.g. name, address, email address, credit card details) to process your subscription order. On the on-line subscriptions order form we will ask you about receiving details of our magazines and services and/or those of third parties which may be of interest to you. Do you use "Cookies"?


From time to time we may store "cookies" (small files transmitted between server software and the browser on your computer) on your computer's hard drive to make your use of the on-line subscription process easier. The personal information you provide (e.g. name, address, e-mail address, credit card details) is stored on our secure server, not in a cookie. 


What can I do if I do not receive an issue on time?


Please contact our customer services team. Please remember to notify our customer services team if you change address.


How do I cancel my subscription?


If, for any reason, you’re not satisfied with your subscription, you can write to to cancel at any time and receive a refund of the cost of all unmailed issues.

Please note that all credit card refunds will be issues in sterling. Your Credit Card company will convert the sterling amount into your local currency if you are not based in the UK and may be charged an additional fee for completing the transaction. Impact of COVID-19


We are currently operating a normal service with deliveries, especially within the UK, largely unaffected. However, as the situation is fast-changing and difficult to predict, we have made digital editions of our magazines available for existing print subscribers free of charge on a temporary basis. To access your digital edition - available across all devices - please login to your account at where you will be able to redeem your unique access code. 


Current known issues:


TV Times and TV&Satellite Week will now arrive with you on a Wednesday or Thursday, as opposed to the Tuesday, so still in good time for the weekend viewing information.   We hope in the near future deliveries will revert back to normal.


Amateur GardeningWoman and Woman's Own will now be delivered just before, or on the 'On-Sale' date which is Tuesday. We have been advised by Royal Mail that, due to issues surrounding the Coronavirus, they will no longer be delivering magazines and letters on a Saturday. We do understand this is a source of inconvenience and can only apologise.
